This hiking trail winds along the coast and between the dreary (old volcanoes) that spread out at the foot of Pelee Mountain. First of all you will cross several types of environments (the mesophile forest, dry and hygrophile). Then this trace will lead you to a beautiful beach, ravines with lush vegetation and rivers with crystal clear waters. Beautiful views of the wild beaches of the Caribbean coast will punctuate the path.

The hike follows the route of the old department D10 that linked the Prêcheur to Grand'Rivière at the beginning of the century. Some remains are visible: tunnel, kilometre markers, stone bridges. We will start this hike with a ford passage to reach the ruins of the former dwelling of anse Couleuvre.

Then we will delve into the forest to reach a magnificent view. Continuing our path we will see several coves on our left. The Anse Levrier, the Anse à Voile and then the Anse à Celle. The trail winds from one ravine to another amidst this lush rainforest vegetation. Moreover, if you open your eyes, perhaps you will have the chance to observe the prettiest of our famous matoutes (mygales).

Then the hike continues towards the river of pebbles that we will cross. We will climb up to the clearing to enjoy the view of the Cove of the Pebbles. We will pass through a tunnel to go down to the Three Arms River. After crossing it we will climb to the Petit Morne.

Finally we will pass the edges of cultivated land near the old home of Fond Mill to reach the pier of Grand'Rivière where our Kannòt (motorboat) will wait for us to reach the Anse Couleuvre, final stage of our adventure.
