Visit with family or friends to discover Martinique's largest mangrove; its fauna and flora so special. Visit by electric motor boat accompanied by a naturalist guide.

In the program :

Departing from the village of Trois-îlets, you will embark on a small shuttle of about ten seats. The guide takes control of the boat and takes you out of port towards Genipa Bay. Then, in the middle of the mangroves, you will discover a world apart, far from the noise and the crowds. Only the birdsong, the color of the water, the rustling of the trees and the crabs will accompany your walk.

The mangroves of Genipa Bay are the largest mangroves in Martinique. It covers almost two-thirds of the island's 1,800 hectares of mangroves (six of the wooded areas).

Then, once out of the mangroves, your guide will take you to stop on the "Little Island" (or islet Robinson) in order to take a well-deserved refreshment: Local fruit juice, planter, etc. What good, all fresh!

You can also discover many more species of plants, their history and uses for daily life, meals or their medicinal properties. It will also show you some remnants of the past presence of the Caribbean Indians, who once inhabited the island. Our passionate naturalist guides will share their experience with joy and dynamism. You will experience an exciting, fun and informative excursion during this crossing.

A magical moment for all, for the youngest and the largest, which will make you both travel back in time and discover the richness of a part of the Martinican ecosystem.
